Herman Miller's Aeron seat is part of the MoMa permanent collection in New York. Although it has maintained its lines, it has been redesigned to meet new ergonomic requirements. It is a perfect combination of design, high ergonomic performance, and new manufacturing technologies which expands the performance range and meets contemporary work needs. The seat and backrest have eight tension adjustable side zones which improve lumbo-sacral comfort and create a healthy upright posture.
A Pellicle mesh has replaced fabric and foam to evenly distribute the user's weight and eliminate pressure points and heat build-up.
Seat movement is activated by a harmonic and synchronised tilt mechanism that facilitates an easily switch from an upright position, suitable for concentration, to a fully reclined position, for relaxation, while adapting to the user movements.
The full optional version includes tilt and seat tilt locking, PostureFit support and 4D adjustable armrests.
